  • Fantastic Footballers

Mon 19 Jun 2017 Miss Fisher

Our super team of footballers performed superbly at Corringham on Friday. After a semi- final (1- 0) victory against Lea school, they lost 3-2 against the home side after leading early on. They did us proud!

  • Well done Mrs Batey!

Mon 19 Jun 2017 Mr Duke

Congratulations  to Mrs Batey for a very successful Key Stage 2 writing moderation on Friday. We were visited by a very knowledgeable moderator who looked closely at the work of a selection of children.  I am delighted to say that she found Mrs Batey's judgements to be accurate and they agreed across the board. As with Miss Pennington recently, so much preparation goes into external moderation and I appreciate the hard work that goes into it. Thank you

  • Friends of the School

Fri 16 Jun 2017 Mr Duke

As this current academic year is drawing to a close, I am looking ahead to next year and thinking how we can further develop the relationship between the school and the 'Friends...' group. This year has been incredibly busy as we have focused on developing many aspects of the school in my first year here, but we need to build on the success of the Christmas Fayre, and the forthcoming Summer Fayre,  in working with you to ensure a strong productive relatonship moving forward.

Over the next year, regular meetings to share ideas and plan events would benefit everyone and I would encourage any parents/carers who can commit hours here and there to become involved. I look forward to working with you in the years ahead and thank you for your help and support so far.

Thu 15 Jun 2017 Mr Duke

A huge congratulations to MIss Pennington and her team for the very successful Early Years moderation recently. The process is supportive but always triggers a few butterflies, so thank you and well done for doing so well.
