We have adopted the PSHE Association Curriculum, working alongside a wide range of diverse picture books, to ensure our children learn about Living in the Wider World, Relationships and Health and Wellbeing. It is a high priority of the school that all children learn tolerance and respect for others as well as what makes for good relationships. We encourage them to become independent, responsible members of the school community. We have an active school council that liaises with pupils, staff and governors on aspects of the school’s procedures as well as organising some charity events. As a consequence of this, there are very few incidents of bullying or intolerance within the school.
Sex and Relationship Education
We follow the National Curriculum guidance on SRE and we ensure it is included within our PSHE Curriculum.
