A huge thank you to all our fabulous parents and carers who hopped into school on Monday to create and make at our first Crafternoon. The cross collage in the hall at Laughton is beautiful and is all the more impressive because it was created by children, parents and carers. We are already looking at some exciting opportunities for collaborative learning in the Summer term. See you there!
Ivy, along with Olive and Fir, had a wonderful day at Yorkshire Wildlife Park.
Despite the wet weather we saw lots of animals. Tigers don’t mind getting wet. However, the wallabies looked a bit fed up and the ant eaters were safely tucked up in bed! The highlight of the day for Ivy class was the chance to handle some animals – two giant cockroaches, a giant African snail and a painted python. Lots of happy children! A great day in the rain.
