BcL Remembrance Day
We were delighted to accept Hilary Robinson's kind offer to visit BcL for Remembrance Day this year. Last year she had kindly offered to visit both of our sites to read her wonderful picture book 'Where the Poppies Now Grow' (illustrated by Martin Impey) to all of the children and we could not have been more thrilled to see her.
After reading the story to KS1 children at All Saints' Church in Laughton, she then stepped into the Remembrance Garden at Blyton to read the beautiful poem again.
