BcL Carol Service
We are so lucky to attend school so close to two beautiful churches and it was a pleasure for us all to visit St. Martin's Church in the final week of term for our annual Carol Service.
Clover shared the story of the birth of Christ and children from across the school sang carols and festive songs to celebrate this time of year.
Thank you to Rev Mark for playing the organ and sharing his readings during the service.

BCL500 Words Celebration 2017
We were delighted to host, for the first time, the BcL500 Words Awards at St. Martin's Church on the 23rd November. The church made a wonderful setting for the awards and we were proud that the inspiration for the competition came from the items found in local churches. Well done to all the children for such wonderful writing.
OPEN CHURCH WEEKEND
Over the weekend of the 12th-14th May, Blyton and Laughton churches will have their doors open for you to visit these most wonderful buildings. Filled with stalls, singing and fun we hope you can spare an hour or so to come and support your local church.
The theme for the weekend is 'Find Your Past' and there will be a number of items on display to take you back to the past.
Children from the school are creating artwork and writing to exhibit in the churches.
Please come along and enjoy the visit. We look forward to seeing you.
