Visions, Aims, Values and Internal Consistencies

Vision, Aims and Values

VISION:

To be HAPPY - To be CARING - To ACHIEVE

HAPPY - CARING - ACHIEVING

Caring for our school...caring for each other

AIMS:
We aim to encourage everyone in our school community:

  • to develop an enquiring mind with an ability to question and think for themselves and express themselves in all areas with confidence in a secure, supportive Christian environment.
  • to develop spiritual, social and moral values that enable them to respect, appreciate and care about themselves and the needs and feelings of others.
  • to respond to challenge and work to their maximum capacity in all areas of a broad and balanced curriculum, and feel valued for their personal achievements.

VALUES:

Alongside staff and the Christian Worship Council, we have selected the six Christian Values which we believe are fundamental to the spirit of Blyton cum Laughton Church of England Primary School. From September 2018, these will be the focus of our Christian reflection.

They are:

Hope

Thankfulness

Friendship

Courage

Compassion

Trust

We have introduced the 'Internal Consistencies' document to ensure a balanced approach to aspects of school life across both sites.
