School Meals & Eligibility for Free School Meals

We are fortunate to be able to provide hot lunches, which are provided by a local company called Food4Thought, they are based at Whites Wood Academy, in Gainsborough. The charge for a school meal is £2.30 per day. Please make cheques payable to Blyton cum Laughton School. Your child will receive a weekly menu and payment slip every Monday afternoon and it must be returned to school by the Wednesday of that week. A vegetarian option is always available or a jacket potato with a choice of toppings.

“I love school dinners! There are good selections.”

Alternatively, your child may bring a packed lunch to school. Your co-operation is requested to ensure children do not bring in excessive amounts of crisps. Chocolate bars and sweets are not allowed. Packed lunches should be such that they provide a healthy balanced meal.

In the interests of safety, drinks should be in plastic containers. Please do not send fizzy drinks.
